SendGinie - Email Campaign Management Platform
A full-stack application enabling users to organize contacts, create email templates, configure custom SMTP servers, and manage bulk campaigns efficiently.

SendGinie is an email campaign management application that enables users to organize contacts, create reusable email templates, configure SMTP settings, and manage email campaigns from a centralized platform.
The application brings together contact management, email content creation, campaign delivery, and campaign reporting in a single workflow.
I designed and developed SendGinie across the backend and frontend, working on its core features, database operations, email delivery integration, and application deployment.
Core modules and user features implemented across the application.
Organize contacts into structured groups to support granular recipient management, custom tagging, and targeted campaign segmentation.
Create, customize, and prepare visually rich HTML email content using an intuitive template-building interface.
Seamlessly assemble and launch email campaigns by selecting target contact groups, scheduling delivery, and choosing prepared templates.
Configure custom SMTP server credentials and credentials management to connect the platform to any mail delivery server.
Upload and include supported file attachments directly in campaign emails with secure file storage validation.
Review campaign sending results, track email open rates, delivery statuses, and monitor detailed recipient engagement activity.
Full-stack architecture stack powering application workflows and infrastructure.
Core application logic, campaign workflow orchestration, contact management APIs, and email delivery integration.
Single-page application experience with server-driven routing, modern component state, and responsive styling.
Optimized relational schema storing contacts, contact groups, template JSON schemas, campaign logs, and analytics.
Custom SMTP server connection layer supporting configurable host settings, port validation, and auth headers.
Asynchronous email dispatch queues ensuring web requests remain fast and responsive during bulk sending operations.
Self-hosted Linux VPS deployment with web server process management, SSL certificate security, and environment hardening.
Practical engineering concerns tackled during development.
Challenge: Managing custom SMTP configurations while maintaining reliable delivery speeds without tripping mail server rate limits.
Challenge: Handling campaign jobs without keeping web requests waiting for the entire sending process.
Challenge: Tracking sent messages and email opens, associating those events back to the specific campaign.
Challenge: Maintaining relationships between dynamic groups, contacts, templates, and historical campaigns.
Building SendGinie involved working across the full application lifecycle, from frontend and backend development to database design, email integration, and deployment.
The project brought together several practical engineering concerns, including managing related application data, processing email campaigns, integrating SMTP services, and presenting campaign activity through reporting.
